I was dissapointed with this. The stuff arrived stale and the taste was really off, like it had been sitting around too long. Definitely not what I was expecting...

Delivery was fine, but kept finding the chilled items I wanted were out of stock. Found some alternatives, but not always what I actually needed.

My order showed up really late, and that’s on the delivery side. I waited way longer than expected, so I don’t see myself using this again.

I had a small issue with my order and wasn’t totally sure what was going on at first, so I reached out to customer service. They got back to me faster than I expected, which was a nice surprise, and they managed to sort it out without making me go back and forth a bunch of times. I did have to wait a bit for the final update, so I was kind of confused for a moment there, but overall it ended up being a okay experience.

I did get my money back in the end, but the refund took longer than I expected and I had to chase it up. Not really sure what was going on behind the scenes, but the whole thing felt more annoying than it needed to be.

I was disappointed with the drink selection on alfies.at. I just wanted to order some beer and a bottle of rum, but the things I’d usually buy were either missing or sold out, so I ended up scrolling around way longer than I wanted to, basically being forced to stay patient for no good reason.
The alcohol options felt a bit random too, like there were some basic choices but nothing that really seemed decent. For a delivery shop, I expected the drink section to be way better, and I don’t think I’d use it again for alcohol.

I ordered for a specific time thinking it would actually show up then, but it ended up arriving late again. It wasn’t a huge disaster, but it’s frustrating when you plan your evening around the time they give you and then it doesn’t happen. Just felt a bit misled...

The food might have been fine, but the delivery fee felt ridiculous to me. By the time everything was added up, it just didn’t feel worth it anymore. I personally wouldn’t order again if the fees stay that high.

The communication was frustrating. I barely got any clear updates about my order, so I had to keep checking on it myself. Even my sister asked if I’d heard anything yet, and I had no real answer because the messages were so vague. When something did change, it wasn’t explained properly at all. The whole thing felt disorganized and annoying, and I probably wouldn’t use them again unless they improve their updates.

The search and filters weren’t very clear either, so I ended up wasting my time trying to find what I wanted. What really bothered me was losing my cart when I went back, because I don’t want to keep redoing the same thing over and over. Checkout also felt more confusing than necessary, with too many steps and not enough straightforward info. I eventually just gave up. For a delivery site, I personally expect the whole thing to be quick and easy, and this wasn’t that for me.

I’ve been happy with the coverage so far. It’s been reliable in the places I need it most, and I actually managed to get through a full day of errands without losing signal once, which felt like a small win...

I’ve ordered from Alfies a few times and the delivery part is usually alright, so that’s not really the issue. The annoying bit is how they handle substitutions. A couple of things got swapped out without it really feeling like anyone checked whether the replacement made sense, and I ended up with stuff I wouldn’t have chosen. I get that items go out of stock, that happens, but they should ask first or at least make it easier to say no to whatever that was. Customer support was fine enough, just not especially useful. Not the worst experience, but because of this, I’d give it 2 stars.

The payment options are kind of annoying. I was ready to check out, but there just weren’t enough ways to pay, which was frustrating. It’s not the end of the world or anything, but yeah, it definitely made the whole experience feel worse. Still, if they add more options, I’d be totally fine with it

Support did sort the issue out in the end, so I can’t complain too much about the result. It just felt like I had to explain myself a few times, and I didn’t really feel listened to along the way. Glad it’s fixed, but the experience could’ve been a bit more reassuring.

A friend recommended this place to me, so I was excited to give it a try, but the minimum order amount felt way too high. I probably would’ve ordered if it were more reasonable.

I’ve used alfies a few times now, and it’s been okay overall. They’ve got the basic drinks and snacks covered, but whenever I try to find a specific brand or something a bit fresher, it’s either not there or already sold out?? For the prices, I expected a little more variety. Delivery has been fine, no real complaints there, I just wish they had more options to choose from...

The courier was nice and the order showed up in good condition, so no real complaints there. I was just getting a bit impatient waiting for it to arrive, but in the end everything came fine...

My order showed up with the wrong items, and one thing was missing altogether. I tried to get it sorted out, but the whole thing was such a pain in the ass. Rubbish experience for a grocery delivery, honestly.

Everything was packed really well, and nothing was broken when I opened it up. The outer box had a little dent on one corner, which made me a bit nervous at first, but everything inside was totally fine.

i tried using their promo code at checkout, but it just wouldn’t go through. no explanation or anything, which made it feel a bit like they used it just to get me to place an order. support wasn’t really helpful either, so the whole thing was frustrating. i probably won’t bother next time.
